I am 30.
For me, that’s an amazing age. I’ve survived childhood and emerged as a beautiful woman. I graduated with a Bachelor in Nursing with a three-year old daughter on my side. I’ve worked as a fine jewelry sales associate and as a Labor and Delivery RN. I’ve volunteered for a rapid-deploying Army unit and cared for students as a school nurse. I’m working tirelessly as a graduate student. I married, gave life to 3 children, and made it through 2 deployments. I’ve battled and continue to battle debilitating depression and anxiety. And yet….
I am 30.
I made it y’all! I’m still here! I have my health and half of a mind left. And so with that, I decided to live a little. Not just on my 30th birthday, but for the entire year. Yes, that’s right, the entire year! For the last 4 months I’ve been working on a list of 30 things I want to accomplish this year. I put a lot of time and thought into this list to avoid random, unimportant tasks and highly unlikely or downright impossible feats. Every item on the list is a part of who I am as an individual and is important to me. So, without further ado here is my list of amazing feats to accomplish while 30. Here’s my #30while30.
